A medical research team at a certain university was
interested in the effect of daily exercise on stress level
in students. To obtain some information, the team
surveyed a simple random sample of 400 of the more
than 35,000 students attending the university. Each
student reported the average number of hours spent
exercising each week and his or her perception of the
