**c.** Benzyl alcohol: A benzene ring (aromatic hexagonal structure) with a -CH₂OH group attached.
**d.** 2-Methyl-2-butanol: A four-carbon chain with the hydroxyl group attached to a central carbon, which is also bonded to a CH₃ group (methyl group).
For classification:
- **Primary (1°)** alcohols have the hydroxyl group connected to a carbon atom, which is attached to no more than one other carbon.
