These questions are broken into an Academic Plan, a Spiritual Plan, and a Career Plan. Please respond to each of the questions directly on this document (the boxes will expand as needed) and then answer the two reflection questions at the end of the document. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a specialized focus on interpersonal communication and fostering meaningful human relationships. What are some of the program core courses you are looking forward to taking and why? The core courses I am looking forward to taking are COM-312 Conflict and Negotiation, SOC-220 Social Problems, and COM-362 Argumentation and Advocacy. These courses are the ones I am looking forward to due to my thirst for social change. All of these classes will aid in that plight. Which courses do you anticipate being the most challenging? Explain why. There are only two courses I am concerned with and they are MAT-144 College Mathematics and FIN-220 Personal Finance. My only concern is that math has never been a strong suit of mine, however I have already found a few helpful resources in the past. After you complete the survey, fill in the following table. Research the details of your Self Assessment results, and then list and describe at least three job descriptions. 1. An Advertising Agency Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth operation of advertising campaigns within an agency. Their responsibilities often include managing client accounts, coordinating communication between different departments, scheduling meetings and appointments, tracking project timelines and budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations. They serve as a central point of contact for clients and internal teams, helping to streamline processes and maintain efficient workflow throughout the advertising campaign lifecycle. 2.A TV & Radio Program Director is responsible for managing the overall content and scheduling of programs broadcasted on television and radio platforms. Their duties typically include selecting and scheduling programs, overseeing production

activities, managing on-air talent, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and monitoring audience feedback and ratings. They collaborate closely with producers, hosts, and other staff to maintain high-quality programming that attracts and retains viewers and listeners while aligning with the station's objectives and target audience. 3.A Training and Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of training programs within an organization. Their main duties include assessing training needs, creating curriculum and materials, coordinating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. They may also collaborate with department heads and HR professionals to identify skill gaps and develop strategies to address them, ultimately aiming to enhance employee performance and contribute to organizational success. Based on your results, what surprises did you find? If there are none, explain why. (100-150 words) I was delightfully unsurprised with the results of my assessments, I have done quite extensive research into the current career path I am taking. I am very involved in examining who I am from my interests to my skills. I enjoy getting to know myself. This is my 3rd time enrolling into university and the first two times I came in and attempted to switch my major three times within the first six months . This time around I decided to take an introspective look at my entire life and take a shot at something that I have always had a natural back at; communication. After completing your current program/degree, what is your plan? (grad school, internship, career plan, etc.) After obtaining my degree, I intend to first take a brief break from school before returning and beginning grad school. Upon completion of grad school I intend to open my on public relations crisis management firm.
