Module Eight Question 1 a. Who is the audience of this presentation? How do you know? b. Why does Claudia think the audience should care? c. What parts of the presentation are impactful? In other words, what parts of the presentation would really convince the audience that they should care? 1. The audience of this presentation could be jail staff, prisoners, or family member of prisoners. I know this because that is who Claudia addresses through out the presentation. 2. She thinks the audience should care because it will help those three groups, the jail staff, prisoners, or family member of prisoners. 3. The part that is really impactful is when she talks about her cousin and how art helped him to stay out of prison. This part I am sure will really convince the audience to care. Module Eight Question 2 Identify places in Claudia's script that you think should be accompanied by visuals. For each place you identify, indicate what kind of information you think she should include on the slide. For example, you may think personal images are appropriate in some places, or that graphs or charts representing data may be helpful in others. A graph would be good in place for when she talks about how many prisoners have been incarcerated or how well art therapy has helped them. I think art would be good in most places and even in places where she talks about her cousin. Module Eight Question 3 Choose the remaining 3-5 places in the script where you will incorporate visuals. Briefly note where you will include these visuals, and describe what will appear on the slide. I am planning to add some sort of visuals to every slide. I want to sort of play on emotions by showing what war is like on families and kids, nothing crazy but showing kids in war. And showing examples of families and what war does to them. Module Eight Question 4 Complete the checklist after practicing your presentation. Identify at least three

adjustments that you will make to improve the presentation based on this critical evaluation.  I will need to explain the visual portion of the presentation.  I might need to change the order of the slides so that it is more cohesive.  I will also need to recreate the hook at the beginning Module Eight Question 5 Identify opportunities that you have to speak in public and practice these presentation skills, even if not giving a formal presentation. How will using these tips help you communicate your message? Some opportunities I have to speak in public could be simply creating small talk to strangers or talking to my co-workers. These can help communicate the message because it will help me to overcome any anxiety I feel. Module Eight Question 6 Consider all you've learned throughout this course. In your opinion, what are two of the most important concepts or skills you learned that are most relevant to your everyday life? One important thing I learned is how to identify if a resource is credible, otherwise known as the C.R.A.A.P test. And the other important thing is I learned about the social constructs of societies. Module Eight Question 7 What did you enjoy most about this course? What I enjoyed most was learning about the two other groups Anthropology and Sociology.
