The author of the Book of Romans, according to the New Testament and other sources, was the apostle Paul. By consulting and citing Approaching the New Testament , when was this biblical book written (in 1 sentence)? The Book of Romans was written around AD 55. By consulting and citing Approaching the New Testament , what is the overall theme of the book (in 2-3 sentences)? Firstly, the Book of Romans was written by the apostle Paul to a group of Christians who sought understanding regarding the purpose of the law of Moses in their community. The main theme of the book is the revelation of God’s saving righteousness through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Step Two: Read Utilizing either a translation of choice or creating a paraphrase of your own, use this space to re-write the full passage of scripture. Please do not copy and paste from an existing translation, but rather, write out the passage word-by-word in order to slowly reflect on the content. "What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He gave up His Son to die for us on the cross, so why would He not give us everything? Only God justifies, so who can accuse those whom God has chosen? Paul wrote this letter to a group of Christians What questions are asked in the passage? One phrase that stands out to me from the passage is when Paul talked about what or who could separate us from the love of Christ. BIBL 110 death, or life, can separate us from this love." That is absolutely amazing to think about. Christ's love for us is forever. What questions do you have as you read this passage?
