President Nelson teaches that when we enter the covenant path, we “create a relationship with God that allows Him to bless and change us.” There is a special love , mercy , and loyalty that we can experience with God in the bonds of this covenant relationship. As President Nelson taught, what is “one of the Hebraic meanings of the word Israel ” and to whom does “the very name of Israel refer”? Let god prevail Person willing to let god prevail jacob l. President Nelson taught, “When we speak of gathering Israel on both sides of the veil, we are referring, of course, to missionary, temple, and family history work. We are also referring to building faith and testimony in the hearts of those with whom we live, work, and serve. Anytime we do anything that helps anyone—on either side of the veil—to make and keep their __________ with God, we are helping to gather Israel.” Covenants m. President Nelson taught, “The gospel net to gather scattered Israel is expansive. There is room for each person who will fully embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ.
