Reflection Paper
The lesson depends on the Old Testament of the book of Samuel, chapter 11. The primary
subject is tied in with getting help, which is coming, it is addressed as tomorrow. Many
individuals are enduring destitution and illicit drug use to give some examples and these
individuals can not emerge from these circumstances since they don't have trust. In order to
demonstrate the power of hope, the sermon has incorporated the story of Jesus Christ and the
man with leprosy. The sermon also illustrates the significance of faith and hope by telling the
story of Abraham's first call from God. The Israelites' journey from Abraham to Egypt and
subsequent return to Egypt are also discussed in the sermon. The sermon also discusses Saul's
appointment as Israel's leader. The lesson likewise discusses the strong name of Jesus Christ and
how Christians can utilize the force of Jesus Christ to drive out Satan (Diocesan G.E. Patterson,
2017).
My understanding of the Old Testament has illuminated my perusing and grasping
in that; It demonstrates the connection between the ultimate objective of God's plan to save
humans and this goal. The Old Testament shows God's arrangement to give salvation to his kin.
It shows that God needed to exhibit to his kin that he is the genuine God. It exhibits conditions
when God shows his kin that he isn't restricted by everything except he overall power and
domain. God is exhibiting that He will satisfy His vows to his kin utilizing conditions that, from
the get-go, look unimaginable. The Old Testament exhibit the excursion of Confidence; it gives
models that can be utilized in a contemporary setting and why Christians ought to depend
heavily on Jesus Christ (Brisben and Klein, 2012)
