Technology can improve classroom management, engagement, differentiation, and teaching by making classes more active, encouraging student-directed learning, inspiring teamwork, and facilitating differentiated instruction. It supports teachers in developing interesting lesson plans and delivering instruction, fostering a sense of community and student empowerment. All students can benefit from technology-enhanced education, regardless of their background, language proficiency, learning style, or ability. In my future classroom, I would love to use Class Dojo and I would incorporate the use of interactive smart boards. My daughter’s first-grade teacher used the Class Dojo and as a parent I loved it. She used it as a tool for classroom management to help foster positive behavior through a reward system. Once the students reached a certain point level for the week they got to pick an item out of the treasure box. It seemed to work well. It also includes communication tools that allow parents to monitor their child's progress in school and behavior in the classroom. Teachers can create a positive and engaged classroom atmosphere with Class Dojo, improving communication with both students and parents. The school where I'm doing my observations uses smartboards. Using Smart Boards in the classroom allows students to interact with educational games, videos, and interactive courses, which helps give hands-on learning experiences. This creates a dynamic and stimulating learning environment in early childhood education by accommodating kinesthetic and visual learning styles.
