Case Study: Ethical Consultation (Obj. 6.1 and 6.2) Within this case study there are several ethical concerns at hand that have been Noted and misused or need better understanding. The first concern is HIPPA information And how that information could be shared. Dr. Jamison must ensure that standard 4.04a is being followed and that the information shared is of the minimum necessity that needs to Be shared. (Fisher, 2022). Dr. Jamison, who, to avoid any possibility of any HIPPA Violations, would need to know how to keep her client's information anonymous, and what kind of information she is allowed to post or what they are allowed to say if she does decide to post. (Therapy Today, 2014). When it comes to her clients they need to be able to feel comfortable on what they say and can be free to express themself and also to be given create when credit is due and for credit to be given equally and not just give credit to only It is important for her cline giving there self the credit also not give all the credit to the therapist. Due to the client and the therapist have a hand in the progress, but also, they need to make sure that they are doing the needed after work to continue Those are the necessary steps that must be taken when it comes to these ethical concerns and Dr. Jamison must follow standard 4.04b, 4.05, and 4.07. Any information that is provided and give during any session that Dr. Jamison does, in which cannot be use, any information that was obtained during any of her sessions must be proper disclosures and must be discussed and provided on what will happened (Fisher, 2022). The clients
need to be able to give informed consent when it comes to information sharing of any information that is given for the testimonial Dr. Jamison can do is try another approach is to try and use a survey within that survey they can check a box if they are okay with sharing information or any information. Dr. Jamison can avoid any HIPPA violations limiting any kind of information given or shared, and clients can have an option on rather than being kept anonymous. By allowing a survey it can help to avoid any kind of HIPPA issues from coming afloat. Jamison can ask questions that wouldn't be considered a violation of HPAA law and to make sure her clients are at ease. Formats at hand is to always make the client feel welcomed and feel the need to share information and that they can and to make sure that privacy is always number one and Dr. Jamison needs to insure trust in her clients and boundaries and HIPPA Law. Recommendations for the group’s advertising that meet ethical standards would Implement transparent advertising practices would Ensure that all materials provide clear and correct information. Avoid exaggerations or misleading claims that can create false expectations for customers. Use evidence-based claims, back up any claims made with reliable evidence such as scientific research, customer testimonials, or credible sources. Avoid using unsubstantiated claims that may mislead potential customers. Respect privacy Adhere to ethical standards by keeping the privacy of consumer data and using it for legitimate advertising purposes. Obtain proper consent before collecting any personal
