Ms. Moore was referred for a psychological assessment in relation to potential recruitment for a managerial role with KLJ Services. Presentation and Background This section has already been completed for you. There is no need to change or add to it. This information is summarised from the semi-structured interview conducted (see the notes provided). The information here will inform the key themes you identify in the Assessment Results section for the interview, and will also be used for the Summary section. Note the formal, precise, yet lay person appropriate wording used. Ms. Moore presented punctually for the assessment, wearing neat business attire. Written consent was provided for the assessment and provision of a report to KLJ Services. Ms. Moore was initially nervous about the assessment process however was engaged and open throughout the assessment and reported being excited for the opportunity.
CONFIDENTIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT 3 In relation to her employment background, Ms. Moore reported a work history of seven years as a retail sales representative in a large multinational company, followed by working in a smaller specialised agency. On reflection, Ms. Moore stated a preference for a larger workplace, favouring a dynamic environment and working around other people. She stated she has been awarded degrees in Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Master of Business Administration. Ms. Moore indicated that she enjoys leadership opportunities and supporting others to identify and achieve their goals. She appeared enthusiastic about her roles in running social and team-building activities, and sensitive in attending to the needs of others. Ms. Moore reported values of productivity and teamwork, identifying her approach as a hardworking and multitasking oriented individual who likes a team which works hard and efficiently. Acknowledging that others can sometimes perceive her as demanding, Ms. Moore stated that she feels her standards are a strength and she also equally rewards excellence. A range of additional personal strengths were self-identified by Ms. Moore including intelligence, astuteness, business savvy, kindness, and generosity. She appeared confident in her skills and experience and affirmed her suitability for the role. In reporting her interests, Ms. Moore disclosed enjoyment of artful photography as a creative outlet and social engagement through netball, a book club, and lifestyle blog. She described herself as someone who values experiences and social opportunities, stating that she “enjoys a good time” and likes to “work hard / play hard”. Ms. Moore identified that she was the youngest child in a traditional family and is in a long-term marriage. She reported good mental and physical health, and no contrary indication to this was observed during the assessment. Ms. Moore denied current substance use other than consumption of alcohol.
