1.
What two games did your class play this week? (1 point)
Itchy, Mini, Hoy
“This is a What”
2.
How can you apply something that you learned in the games this week to your
life as a college student? (1 point)
While playing the game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy which is similar to rock paper scissors I can apply
what I learned from this game to my life as a college student by being more aware of my
surroundings throughout the game and my college life. Something that I learned when playing
this game is that if I lose then I will overcome it. If I lose one round and play another then I will
need to choose something that is going to be more powerful where I am more likely to win the
next round. Another thing that I learned from playing this game is the aspect of making
decisions. When I played the game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy I had to make decisions on what sign or
symbol I was going to use. With my life as a college student, I can use what I learned from
playing this game by becoming more aware of my surroundings and what is going on around me
when I am going from place to place. Something else that I can use in my life as a college
student is making decisions. Throughout my college life, I will also be making decisions whether
it is what I might eat throughout the day or how early I want to get to class.
When we played the “This is a What” game in class it helped with getting to know everyone’s
name. Knowing people’s names is important especially when working at a camp, being around
people in my hall, in classes or with a group of people. One thing that I learned when playing
this game is the importance of knowing people’s or someone’s name. I can use what I learned
from playing this game to my life as a college student by knowing my professors names, students
names in my classes, as well as people's names in my hall.
3.
How can you apply something that you learned in the games this week to your
spiritual life? What scripture, passage of scripture, or Bible character represents
this lesson? (1 point)
With playing the game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy I observed a lesson of knowing that I am going to
overcome something, I need something even more powerful. I can apply what I learned with
playing this game to my spiritual life by making decisions of what book of the Bible to read or
what Bible passage that I decide to read. When I played the “This is a What” game in class I can
apply what I learned to my spiritual life. This is a type of game that helps us know each others
names. As it states in the Bible, isaiah 45:1-7 God knows our names. God calls people by their
earthly names that their parents named them. When playing the “This is a What game” it helps
people get to know each others names by passing the pen to someone saying who they passed it
to so we could learn peoples names. By playing the game of “This is a What” it has helped me
with learning and knowing peoples names. I can apply what I have learned with playing this
game by the importance of knowing someones name especially in my spiritual life when I am
reading my Bible and need to know a persons name in the Bible.

Do you feel confident that you could lead this game? Why or Why not? (1 point)
If someone asked me if I could lead the game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy and or the game of “This is a
What” no matter what kind of game is being played I would most confidently say that I could
lead the game whether it is played in class or outside of class. I could lead the game that we
played in class especially since I have had experience of how the game is played as well as
participating playing the game. I could without a doubt say that I can lead the game whether it is
in a class or with a group of friends. However, I have not played the game of Itchy, Mni, Hoy or
the game of “This is a What” and I feel like I could most certainly lead the game of either Itchy,
Mini, Hoy or the game of “This is a What” whether it is the one of the games that we played in
class. I am a childcare worker at my church and I feel like I can definitely lead the game either of
the two games mentioned above as well as any other games. As a part of my job, I have to teach
the kids that I work with some kind of game. I feel like I could teach the two games to anyone
whether it is the people in my hall or even my friends.
5.
Do you feel confident that you could lead the “processing” of this game? Why or
Why not? (1 point)
When I was playing the different tag games that we played in class, the processing part of how
the game was being played was a little bit confusing at first but after seeing how the game is
played I could understand the rules of the game better. After different steps of the game were
added it made it even more confusing to play the game. I feel like I could definitely be good at
leading the processing of the game of Swoop whether it is the game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy or the
game of “This is a What” after watching to see how the game is being played. Using what I

learned about playing the different games of tag I can lead the processing of any game like the
game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy or the game of “This is a What” as I am a faster learner and I can learn
things quickly. When I helped with vacation Bible school, the theme was called game changer
and one of the games that we played was a sports game. After reading the instructions for how
each game is going to be played, I was easily able to lead the processing game with the other
leader that I worked with. After teaching the game to the kids they were able to understand the
process of the game once I explained it to them and showed them how it was supposed to be
played. I feel like I could lead the game of Itchy, Mini, Hoy or the game of “This is a What” to
the class, my friends and even the people in my hall.
