Discussion Thread: Quantitative and Qualitative Research REPLIES

Hey Lauren,
I greatly enjoyed hearing your comments throughout your thread to our conversation, as I was
able to hear your perspectives on quantitative and qualitative research. In your thread, I liked
how you explained quantitative and qualitative research. The examples you offered, particularly
concerning your experience in dental hygiene clinics, were useful in comprehending. You cited
both quantitative and qualitative research in your thread, however I failed to include qualitative
research in mine. So it was beneficial to read your post since you detailed the differences
between the two investigations. The thing you said about qualitative research that jumped out to
me was that it incorporates both scientific and real-life components to assist in better knowledge
of a subject. This form of study has a philosophical base that is different from quantitative
research (Hall & Roussel, 2020, p. 25). 1 Thessalonians 5:21 says, "Test all things; hold fast
what is good" (NKJV), which I feel is relevant to this issue. This passage demonstrates how to
use discernment to distinguish between what is good and what is wrong. Overall, I appreciated
your contribution to our conversation.

Hey Kiarah,
I appreciated hearing your remarks throughout your thread to our chat, as they provided insight
into your opinions on quantitative and qualitative research. I enjoyed the way you discussed
quantitative and qualitative research in your post. I enjoyed how you talked about the many sorts
of quantitative and qualitative research throughout your post. I had no idea there were so many
distinct sorts of qualitative and quantitative research. So your discussion assisted me in
recognizing the many sorts, and I was grateful to stumble across your thread because it provided
me with this information. Another aspect of your thread that I appreciated was the examples you
presented to differentiate between these two studies. It should be noted that "the dependent
variable is the disease or outcome of interest for the study, and the independent variables are the
factors that may influence the outcome". Deuteronomy 13:14 states, "Then you shall inquire,
search out, and ask diligently." And if it is genuine and definite that such an abomination
occurred among you," (NKJV). Overall, I loved how you contributed to our discussion.
