Lisa Najavits, PhD
Lisa Najavits is a clinical psychologist and professor at Boston University School of Medicine. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Najavits is the creator of Seeking Safety, an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and substance abuse. She has conducted extensive research on Seeking Safety and published over 150 articles and books on PTSD, substance abuse and behavioral addictions.
