After reviewing my feedback that I received on my Unit 8 assignment, there were some things that I can improve on. First, I received feedback regarding my paragraphs and how I pinpoint the issues but did not discuss enough about the solutions. This is an easy enough issue to fix as I can change the formatting to signify the problem and follow it up with the evidence surrounding the solution. Another issue that was brought up was the in-text citations and using paraphrases rather than quotations, restructuring my sentences to allow for this formatting is a simple issue that can be resolved during my final editing stages before submitting my final draft. One of the other issues that were brought to my attention was the lack of sources, in my feedback, you stated that I should be using more sources to indicate the issue and solution within my paper. Finding more sources will prove to be somewhat challenging as it is hard to find articles surrounding the Baton Rouge Police Department itself without it seeming that it is a global issue, but it is not impossible. By spending the time and doing the proper research, I can ensure that my paper turns out better when I submit it for the final time. The feedback was constructive in showing me what needed to be changed and reorganized within my paper so that I can be more successful with the next submission.
