The unit 2 assignment was a learning experience for me truthfully, when attempting this assignment the first time, I must say I did not receive a good grade. Personally, I thought I had done a better job but after reading the feedback that was provided, I understood better what I did incorrectly. After receiving the feedback, I was able to make the proper adjustments to my paper and thankfully, you allowed me to resubmit it in order to achieve a better grade. Thank you for that! One of the many things that I learned about this course especially is to follow the rubric and
assignment to a tee. This is the best advice I could see myself using as following the rubric directly will result in the best grade on the assignment. English is one of my favorite courses but tends to be one of the hardest due to the many rules surrounding the English language and APA. My largest weakness in my eyes is that I need to focus more time on the citations surrounding APA, however, I believe it is a weakness that is easily addressed by spending the time to perfect the citations. I do believe that my vocabulary usage and my sentence structures would be my strong suits. I typically try to spend a large amount of time revising my writing assignments in order to ensure that there are no grammatical or spelling errors. I do appreciate the feedback you are giving on assignments, that is one of the best ways to correct mistakes and learn from them. Thank you for spending the time to mold us into better students, it does go a long way. I look forward to seminar this week!
