They are both used by marketers. Therefore, when marketers use such these media platforms to get customers, it is referred to as social media marketing. Social media marketing will work well if you create links to your Facebook, YouTube and Twitter among other accounts. This will help you get a wider range of clients ( Galuba& Kellerer, 2010). When marketing on social media m ake the advertising simple to increase your sales on social media. Be patient as you wait for the magical increase in sales through social media marketing. Of course you can’t do that in a day or even a month. You will get followers with time (ML Antheunis, 2013). Since social media technology keeps changing, you need to be informed as soon as any change arises. You also need to be social will make you successful. However, marketing on social media is getting some setbacks. Let us look at some of them. 1. Internet availability. For one to advertise market on social media, you have to be accessed to internet. Not all areas have strong internet coverage. When it is poor, it becomes a shortcoming.

We have very many languages that not everyone can be able to communicate in the very many languages. Therefore it becomes difficult to get many customers because not everyone will understand the used language. 3. Unawareness. Unawareness is a barrier to social media marketing. Not everybody is aware of the advantages of social media including marketing. When you market, not everyone will get the message or even the idea of checking what is marketed on social media. Conclusion Social media has come with many advantages. Apart from being a social forum, it has also been used to market. It is a very helpful forum since you can market to very many people at the same time. With so many advantages, it has some disadvantages which we cannot run away from including unawareness, language barrier and internet unavailability. These tips will make you successful as you market your business on social media. It will enable you to beat your competition. Keep on checking on technology changes that come up. Be social and make things simple during marketing on social media.
