I would like to start by thanking you for giving me the opportunity to reach out to a professional that will provide me with feedback and insights to learn from. It is not always that our superiors set time aside to answer questions that pertain to our personal development and should be something to take advantage of. This is a great opportunity to better develop our career paths. In this memo I will be discussing the following: 1. Who do I intend to interview?
2. Reason for my choice of executive.
3. Questions I plan on asking said person. WHO
I plan on interviewing an Olin employee who works close to the CFO, COO, VPs, and lots of upper- lever leaders of the multi-billion dollar company. Mario Medeles holds the position of Contract Administrator and handles many different responsibilities, which makes him the perfect
candidate for me. If Mr. Medeles is unavailable to meet with me then my backup option will be Devon Robotham. Operations Manager of Southern Services Inc. A smaller company compared to Olin but someone who has first hand privileges to working closely with many larger companies. WHY
Having a Contract Administrator as an interviewee will be an advantage for me since I am pursuing a career in contract management or related fields. Their expertise can help me accelerate my learning curves and make more informed decisions in my professional journey. Mario has both leadership and team work experience which makes him a good candidate to learn from. Being able to interview Mr. Robotham would give me great insight into how companies in my desired field operate together. Devon has many responsibilities inside his operation management role, one of them being an active leader and working alongside other leaders. He will also be able to provide information on how to socialize and network for myself since he is involved with many other companies. WHAT
