Hey Shabarbara, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the case study on Alec and Diana ( Prepare/Enrich , 2021) . I, too, did my case study analysis on them as well. As a man who has been married before, I still find it interesting how couples who have been married for decades still see each other as exciting or have that twinkle of curiosity to learn about the other person. You can understand that Alec and Diana still want to be together after completing the assessment. They need help to get on the right path to continue to the longevity they’ve developed. Your observation about Diana’s being or feeling more strongly about their relationship than Alec is interesting. Within a relationship, one person may not be overly excited because that is not their personality. However, they are trying to ask questions about disconnections; therefore, they should not be penalized for not smiling all the time. Looking at Dianna and Alec, she is more flexible with change than he is. Therefore, their most prominent solution should be finding balance. To keep the conversation going, how do you think couples like Alec and Diana can benefit from understanding their personality differences at the end of this assessment?
