Management During Covid-19 Covid-19 remains unprecedented health crisis that has shaken the whole world. The ongoing pandemic is affecting millions of people in different ways. The corporate sector has experienced dramatic changes, as businesses continue to develop coping mechanisms to address the Covid-19 related challenges. Many businesses are struggling to remain afloat, with most of them closing their shops due to the Covid-19 adverse effects ( Hamouche, 2021 ). Managers have remained instrumental in developing sustainable business practices and strategies focused on managing all companies operations and resources, such as human resources. Their input during the pandemic has helped many organizations survive various adverse effects. However, managers are facing different challenges, such as depleted workforces, decreasing business performance, and changing work environment. Employees remain the most important assets in any organizations. They are critical in helping organizations achieve their objectives. However, Covid-19 and the measures that governments have been implementing have made many organizations lose most of their key talents. Managers are experiencing challenges replacing key talents and managing the few that are working remotely. As a result, some managers have been forced to improvise, especially through remote working to remain operational. Although such measures have been instrumental, they have significantly affected many businesses’ overall performance. Managers are struggling keeping their companies and businesses operational. Notably, Covid-19 has significantly affected global supply chains, making businesses experience disruption in the supply of crucial raw materials. As a result, their performance, have deteriorated for an extended period. In some sectors, such as the hotel and tourism, performance of many companies have remained below par. Travel bans, lockdowns, and decreased flow tourism has profoundly contributed to reduced performance for these companies. Managers are facing many challenges identifying suitable strategies that they can use to improve the performance for their companies, especially those in the hotel and tourism industry. Therefore, many managers are facing nearly insurmountable challenges improving the performance of their businesses to desired levels. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has also disrupted work environment globally. The pandemic containment measures implemented by different governments have made it difficult for businesses to have their employees in business premises. As a result, some have been forced to adopt remote working strategies
