Leadership and Team Simulation: Everest 2 Introduction The simulation has been utilized in the conferences and workshops to assist parties in understanding the prominence of leadership, effective communication and decision-making process. It has been effectively employed in a range of settings, such as professional development, corporate team buildings, university classes and so on (Buil et al., 2018). Moreover, through the integration of challenging wealthier, promoting decision-making and other challenging circumstances, this simulation has provided a compelling and memorable learning experience. Challenges in Climbing the Mountain This role-play activity aimed to help all team members appreciate the notion of how an excellent team operates and how the team's collaborative decision-making and problem-solving process influences the outcomes. Initially, all team members understood their responsibilities or what they were expected to do when the simulation task was allocated (Gatti et al., 2019). It was challenging for our team to comprehend how the complete simulation worked on the first attempt. But by the conclusion of simulation 1, we had a deeper understanding of the responsibilities performed by each teammate and how they needed to work together to convey each person's abilities and physical status. Nevertheless, we had certain chalklanges in the second simulation as well owing to which we were not capable of accomplishing the goal.   Handling of the Situation by the Team Each individual had to verify their fitness, supplies, and pace as the days passed. Based on these stats, decisions were made regarding whether the team member could remain behind in the campsite for the day or continue with the group. Along with achieving the team goal to reach the peak by Day 7, each team member's personal goals needed to be completed. Psychological Safety levels The capability to show one's actual self without thinking about the ramifications of their picture is referred to as psychological safety. All of the people on our team exhibited a high level of psychological safety (Turner & Harder, 2018). Each group member was open with themselves, communicated honestly, and presented themselves as truthfully as possible without caring about what the other teammates might be thinking or saying. In the meantime, we all ensured that if any group member didn't make the right choice or didn't execute their job responsibilities, we took the time to convey to them what needed to be done gently. Observations on Team Process The primary objective of this activity was to establish in us the virtue of cooperation and teamwork or big I learned that, regardless of how small a job may be, it is essential to take into account each individual's ability to complete their important function in the project when cooperation is necessary. The results or goals of the project could be influenced by even one individual needing to carry out their duties correctly (Paais & Pattiruhu, 2020). Conflict resolution is an essential element to manage when collaborating with others. When the health of two of our teammates was in danger, a dispute also developed. Team Effectiveness By organizing and functioning collectively, our team performed its best. There was effective dialogue and openness concerning everyone's fitness and circumstances to continue the climb. Making decisions each day becomes possible and more manageable as a byproduct

It took a while for us to grasp the hang of simulation 1 and recognize the significance of each role when it initially began. We performed better than in simulation 1 and clarified how everything needed to be connected to accomplish our goal (the summit). However, based on my experience, the areas that needed improvement were excellent time management and a little more consideration of the roles and situations of the other teammates. Virtual vs In-person It would have been distinct if the activity had taken place in person. Regardless of whether there isn't a significant difference, even minor ones would aid the team to perform much better and achieve additional goals and scores. During joining virtually, there needed to be more clarity as to who was intended to do what and how. While beginning or working in a group on something unique and unorthodox, in-person interaction has more influence than virtual communication (Brucks & Levav, 2022). Additionally, in-person teams are more likely to offer more opportuinities for comprehensive conversations as well as relationship-building which can in turn, promote a greater sense of understanding and trust beyween team members. This can culmimate to a more profitable outcome for the entire simulatioin process. Self Discovery This simulation exercise was amusing and taught everyone a deeper understanding of how to collaborate for the ultimate value. I've gained some knowledge from this activity. I've learned that it's essential to communicate with every team member before making even the slightest choices since they will affect the whole team. The collaboration includes resolving conflicts to a great extent (Cooney & Darcy, 2020). Nevertheless, I have additionally learned that

Conclusion In summary, the simulation was an enjoyable experience for me to grasp better the prominence of leadership, teamwork, communication and decision-making. Through this specific simulation, I have been capable of identifying my loopholes and strengths in certain areas while comprehending goal setting, budgeting, time management and taking proper initiatives. This encounter has provided me with greater confidence to grab novel risks and become a more competent team member.
