Module 6 Discussion
The investigation conducted by the project pertaining to ethical dilemmas in artificial
intelligence has yielded substantial insights. However, it has also underscored the need of
ongoing research and adaptability in response to the rapid evolution of this domain. Based on the
findings, many preliminary proposals have been suggested to address the concerns identified in
the research.
Continuous Literature Review and Monitoring:
Due to the limited availability of credible and
current resources, it is essential to emphasize the need of consistently revisiting prior research
and staying abreast of technological advancements (Furman & Seamans, 2018). In order to
priorities ethical considerations, it is essential to establish a systematic approach for conducting
literature reviews and staying abreast of advancements in the field of artificial intelligence.
Dynamic Project Planning:
According to the guidelines, it is essential to consistently review
project plans, since the field of AI ethics is characterized by its dynamic nature, always evolving
and undergoing changes. The first design of Module 3 had promising qualities; nonetheless, it is
essential for the project to foster a culture of continuous upgrades in order to remain abreast of
the dynamic nature of AI ethics. In order to do this, it is essential to consider novel material,
modify study methodologies, and reexamine previous research results.
Collaborative Engagement:
The aforementioned guidelines emphasize the advantages of
engaging in cooperative endeavors with professionals and colleagues. Research has shown that
engaging in conversations with individuals from diverse backgrounds may facilitate the
acquisition of new knowledge and foster novel perspectives (Goldhill, 2016). By using the
collective expertise and insights of a broader community, the effective management of emerging
societal challenges in the field of artificial intelligence may be enhanced via the promotion of
collaborative efforts among individuals.
These guidelines serve the dual purpose of raising awareness about the intricacies of AI ethics
and providing practical strategies for individuals to address these complexities. The project team
is also seeking input from the group, hence they have provided a compilation of preliminary
suggestions aimed at enhancing the curriculum. As the ethical challenges associated with AI
evolve, adopting a collaborative approach will ensure our ability to effectively and flexibly
address them.
