Introduction
A generation known as the millennials is composed of people born between 1981 and 1996. There are many ways in which these folks differ from those born in the 1950s and 1970s, including their culture, language, and even their technology. In the millennial generation, most people are under the age of 40 and belong to the generation of so-called "digital natives." The members of this generation grew up surrounded by cutting-edge technology. From smartphones to colored televisions, technology has become much more widespread in our century than one might expect.
The millennial generation has developed their own unique set of political, cultural, and social identities and personalities as a result of the rapid development of technology. The millennial generation is currently working in the workforce, either looking for work or adapting to their new surroundings. The millennial generation includes some young parents who utilize a variety of parenting strategies and management styles. It has only been possible for self-employed individuals to reach this point in the leadership section. There is a difference between the work ethic and leadership style of Generation X, the group born between 1965 and 1980.
It is imperative that one be adaptable to the different generations of employees at work if one is going to succeed. Majority of Generation Xers hold leadership positions, and their management styles and cultural norms differ from those of other generations. Future generations will dominate the workforce, so learning how they do business is essential if you want to succeed. Often, human resources departments conduct this work in the workplace, and their bosses can turn to them for advice on managing and managing younger employees.

Utilizes modern technology effectively
Since generation X developed technology, the millennial generation has improved and advanced it significantly. There is no doubt that the millennial generation is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to information. As a result, they know how to make the most of the internet to gain information (Whatton, 2022). A millennial is adept at obtaining the best results without leaving their home and conducting field research when working on a project. Leadership programs must deal with this reality in order to be effective.
In addition to this millennial work characteristic, delegation is most effective when used in conjunction with it. Managers need to delegate some time-sensitive projects to millennials in order to accomplish things. Millennials have the motivation and ability to be of assistance to the project (Lee, 2021). In order to be successful in their work, they must be able to visit multiple locations at once while doing fieldwork.
As a result of the internet connection, they are able to work from anywhere. They can handle multiple duties while delivering great results, making them ideal for firms to use for errands. With millennial employees and a Generation X-controlled company, technology has played an important role.
Directing and Transparency
The millennial generation believes that you can only achieve success by being open and honest. You need to be open-minded and open to learning so people know who you are (Whatton, 2022). As a result of this openness, they can be influenced, but leadership is also required of them. Young people are overflowing with knowledge and enthusiasm about current events, but they often do not know how to use them effectively. Generation X, who have been working in corporate America for more years, can offer millennials a wealth of knowledge and experience from their experience in corporate America. The wisdom and experience of Generation X can be valuable to Millennials.
Leading by directing has proven to be beneficial for many businesses. As a result of this type of leadership, people will be less productive, since they do not appreciate leaders who simply order them around (Lee, 2021). Leaders need to use millennials' creative energy to the best effect by showing them how to apply their skills to make the company and themselves more successful. People with more experience in the area should direct the business, since they know what is best for everyone, including the people working there.
A variety of tasks & assistance
The top executives must demonstrate their enthusiasm for workplace diversity since millennials are strong advocates. Multitasking is an excellent skill for the millennial generation, and they enjoy working on multiple projects with other people (Whatton, 2022). This results in shorter turnaround times and higher quality work because they can get the job done faster. In the workplace, millennials thrive when they are given support, and when they are brainstorming and their ideas are considered, they feel important. As a result, they become more open to expressing themselves.
Taking a group's opinion into account is known as "leadership support." If the suggestions are credible, they are tested and given credit for their success, encouraging new ideas
in the work force (Lee, 2021). As a means of supporting the employees, it is important to listen to their problems and consider some of their opinions. The millennial generation has developed ideas that can help businesses adapt to technological advances.
Adaptability and Collaborative Attitudes
For millennials to be successful professionally and personally, they must find a way to combine the two. It is important for millennials to spend time with their friends and family; work is not their life. It isn't appealing to millennials to work from home or give up their personal lives for work. Their deliverables are always on time as a result.
Employees and employers can negotiate terms that will benefit each other. This style allows for better communication and transparency at work, so workers are aware of what to expect and that they must finish their work on time before entering their personal lives (Lee, 2021). As a result of this agreement, trust is fostered and a cross-
functional working environment is created, making everyone's experience at work more pleasant. An environment conducive to millennials' productivity must be created in their workplace
Having a "play-hard, work-hard" mentality.
Adaptation in Leadership
A leader's leadership style depends on the type of company they lead and the type of organization they lead. The millennial generation is capable of adapting to a variety of leadership
styles, but have the same attributes and are prepared to stand up for their bosses, making them an

excellent generation to work with because they are willing to stand up to even the most unlikely of bosses. A variety of factors, such as leadership styles and company cultures, can contribute to a company's success, including the leadership style and the company culture (Al Khajeh, 2018). As well as the unique features and leadership style that millennials possess, they are also bound to uphold a certain moral value and respect for the company that they are working for in order to be in sync with the demands and culture of their business.
Conclusion
Many businesses have been able to achieve success by using a variety of different strategies to achieve their goals. As a manager of any generation, it is crucial that the leader has insight into the needs of the people he or she is working with, in order to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with the employees with whom he or she has to deal. In order to make the most of the learning opportunity for their employees, they need to be excellent mentors who can assist them in navigating the various facets of the workplace, and assist them in drawing parallels
between current events with their past experiences so they can learn from it (Al Khajeh, 2018). The ability to lead a firm with the flexibility and ability to communicate effectively with employees from a variety of generations is one of the core competencies of a competent leader, because a firm's employees will come from a variety of generations. In the present diverse workplace, it is imperative that you have a better understanding of different work styles so that you can manage them more effectively.
