By counting how many syllables words that the teacher says to them, the children will be able to count how many syllables they have. Counting will also be done on the board with the words. Activity

Berryhill 3 While the kids are in their small companies, we will have the scholars choose out a card that will have a phrase and a image on it. The students will say the phrases that are one the cardboard and clap out the syllables that the word has in it.
