Common properties to adjust are page orientation, margins, and paper size. 83 | Domain 1: Apply Style Sets Word 2019 Project Workbook, First Edition Apply Style Sets A style set is a collection of style definitions that look good together. The styles in a style set will have specific font styles, font sizes, colors, and text positioning so that the document is consistent and attractive regardless of what style set is chosen, as long as you have used the built-in styles (Normal, Heading 1, Heading 2, Title, Subtitle, etc.). A style set deals more specifically with text characters, headings, and paragraph styles. Style sets will be assigned to the whole document all at once by clicking on the style set choice. The Style Set gallery is on the Design tab in the Document Formatting section. In addition to style sets, other aspects of the document can be adjusted all at once. The colors that are available in the color palettes are determined by the selected choice in the Colors gallery. Changing the Theme Colors selection will change the color all items that use any non-custom colors. The Fonts gallery allows you to change the document styles’ fonts. Any non -custom fonts will be changed when a Theme Fonts option is selected. Style sets, theme colors, and theme fonts are bundled together into a theme. The Themes gallery will allow you to adjust all three at once, as well as save themes to your computer for later use or load themes based on other documents.
