The Inspect Document section of the Info pane will check the document for
author names and document properties that you may not want shared when a
document is published.
Purpose
Upon completing this project, you will be able to inspect and remove document
hidden properties and information that should not be shared along with the
document.
Steps for Completion
1.
Open the .docx file named

2.
Use the Check for Issues button
to find hidden personal information in
the brochure.
3.
Name three items that were found in the brochure inspection.
4.
Remove all personal information found and reinspect the document.
5.
Save the project as a .docx file named

Issues
Adding alternative text is important when distributing printed materials to a
diverse, large audience. Alternative text is added to objects/pictures so that
visually impaired readers will be able to have access to the information that the
objects/pictures portray. Objects need to be inline (or part of the text) so that
screen readers will recognize and read the object.
Purpose
Upon completing this project, you will be able to check and correct any
accessibility issues in a document.
Steps for Completion
