This underscores the significance of clear and regular communication between customers and virtual teams. Additionally, ensuring the quality of deliverables may pose challenges in the absence of direct oversight (Chen & Mohamed, 2016). Based on the experience and research virtual teams have indeed revolutionized the way organizations collaborate, bringing forth a host of advantages intertwined with unique challenges. To gain a holistic understanding of the virtual team dynamics, it is crucial to consider the viewpoints of project managers, team members, sponsors, and customers. Effectively addressing these challenges while capitalizing on the benefits can result in heightened productivity, cost-efficiency, and the facilitation of global collaboration. Managing virtual teams effectively necessitates a deep comprehension of both their merits and drawbacks, complemented by the implementation of strategies to optimize the former and mitigate the latter. As remote work continues to evolve, adaptability and innovation among stakeholders are imperative to fully harness the potential of virtual teams in the ever-changing landscape of modern work.
