Technology Needs Template Certified Public Accountant (CPA) The CPA is a senior position at a tax preparation company. The CPA will be not only handling sensitive customer data from personal tax returns but also preparing tax returns for corporate clients. The CPA is also responsible for the personal tax returns filled out by the tax and data-entry specialist employees. This position involves customer interaction in gathering data for minimizing taxes owed or maximizing tax refunds. Although the data-entry specialist works with sensitive customer data, they do not have access to the tax returns once the returns are submitted to the tax specialist for review. I gave both the CPA and the Tax Specialist 2 monitors. They will be able to multitask since they both will be dealing with customers face to face and since the CPA will be also dealing with corporate clients. The CPA and Tax Specialist will both also have a webcam so they can take care of customers or corporate clients at the office or at home. All three employee’s PC’s will have the same hardware for everything else. Each have 16bg mem, 3.0mhz processor to handle multiple task and fast processing. All PC’s will have Windows 10 pro, MS Office, MS Outlook, Printer Software, but the CPA and Tax Specialist will have Bluetooth and Zoom for handling customer, client video chats or conferencing. All three computers will also have office automation software for backing up data every night and can share data between the three computers when needed with a backup server. For security all three PC’S will have professional antivirus, malware, and Firewall software. The CPA will also be the administrator of the three computers and all will have access with login and password The printer/scanner will be connected to the network and the CPA computer with the other two PC’s connecting wireless. The CPA and Tax Specialist will also have remote access on their PC’S. All computers will have wireless network cards installed and will connect to the network wireless by the wireless modem/router.
