Meet with a few classmates to discuss potential
WHS hazards in your workplaces. Think about
the processes that managers need to follow
when providing advice on risk controls and
measures and the hierarchy of controls. Explain
what you will need to do during each of the
following steps to address an identified risk:

Research
Research how consulting arrangements are
involved in each design process phase and how
it is used to identify new or potential risks.
How are risks and hazards identified at different
stages of the product lifecycle? How can
considerations such as exposure of hazards to
users affect the designer’s
input in the design
process? Take notes to share in class.
