readings about volcanoes
(https://canvas.asu.edu/courses/172892/files/77690446/download?wrap=1) , you
learned about basic types formed by different processes. This assessment uses
a mixture of different sorts of imagery (aerial, panorama, Google Street
views) to provide great views of different volcanic types. 0.5 / 1 pts
Question 1

The La Palma eruption that has been ongoing throughout late 2021 and
into 2022. Here are several videos that show the eruption. If one video
link is broken, don't worry. The others show the same thing. But let me

Basaltic lava derived from ocean crust forms mostly a'a' and
pahoehoe textured lava flows. Granite is an intrusive volcanic rock
formed at great depth (miles under the surface). Rhyolite is a type
of lava that erupts explosively from volcanoes like composite
volcanoes. In contrast these eruptions are much less violent than
rhyolite eruptions.
