This essay defends Wal-Mart against its critics, and states that Wal-Mart does only what other big companies do in America. I plan to use this essay as an opinion that provides “the other side” of the argument. This is an anti-Walmart essay that states that Wal-Mart exploits its female workers, and that it is a company that knows how to “make money off of poverty.” I agree with Featherstone’s claims and will use this essay to provide background information about why Wal-Mart is bad for America.
