ENG 130 Module Three Written Response Template Summaries, Quotes, and Paraphrases Complete this template by replacing the bracketed text with the relevant information. Write a brief summary of the text chosen for the project. The text I’ve chosen for my project is “Take a break!” by Nicole Peluse (2010). This text is a newspaper article that points out the signs of stress and the significance of managing it in order to live your best life. Choose one sentence from the text and incorporate it as a quote in an original sentence. Quote: “Stress is a truly unavoidable reality of life.” Sentence: Nicole Peluse highlights the importance of recognizing that “stress is a truly unavoidable reality of life,” (Peluse, 2010, p. 10) and also gives techniques on how to manage it effectively while also recognizing that it happens. Take the same sentence from the text and incorporate it as a paraphrase in an original sentence. Peluse (2010) states that stress is an inevitable fact that we will all become stressed out at one point or another in our lives. (p. 10) Use in-text citations throughout the assignment to properly cite the writer’s ideas according to APA or MLA standards. Use either APA or MLA standards to properly cite the writer’s ideas in your summary as well as in the sentences where you quoted and paraphrased the writer’s work.
