Introduction: The purpose of this lab is to familiarize students with the program PSpice to build and run a simple circuit to find the characteristics of simple diodes. Equipment: Pspice Procedure: The first step of this lab is to first download the PSpice software. After this is done and basics are learned the next step is to begin building the circuits given using this software. Starting with figure 5.2 and continuing to build the circuits and follow lab instructions until figure 5.15 is complete. Analysis: All results were close to expected. The deviation mainly occurred in the fourth wave with a discrepancy in the voltages. The Pspice program ran smoothly with few to no complications. Error is much less likely while using the Pspice simulation due to a decrease in human error. Error could still be prevalent in measurements and circuit design.
