What are some of the social and professional organizations specific to your
program? How likely are you to join one of these organizations? Which one interests you the most, why? (Minimum 100 words total)
There are lots of choices for the social and professional organizations specific to Justice studies. Loss Prevention Foundation, Justice Research and Statistics Association, National Criminal Justice Association, Measures for Justice, International Association of Crime Analysts, National Archive of Criminal Justice and many more. It is very likely that
I will join one or more of these organizations. I feel like these social and professional organizations will help me increase my knowledge, stay up to date, and be a good tool to have communication with people that are in the same field of study or career as me. The organization that interests me the most is the International Association of Crime Analysts. This particular organization interest me the most because of the resources they offer and it is much cheaper than some of the others. They offer training and professional opportunities worldwide, help finding a job and career tips. Set and share a goal for how you will become involved in a social /professional organization. Discuss how involvement in these types of groups could positively affect you as a student/employee? (Minimum 100 words total)
My goal is to become involved in at least one of these organizations within the next 6 months. More than likely, I will be looking to join The International
Association of Crime Analyst and possibly the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data. I think that my involvement in these groups will help me become more knowledgeable in my field of study as a student and when it comes to a career. When you become you become a member of one of these organizations you have all the resources to help you become successful student or professional and have the people to share ideas and your knowledge with. Having access to people who share the same interest
and career as me will help me become a more effective student and professional in all areas of the Justice community.
What do you need to achieve academically to be successful in the future? Are there any GPA requirements, volunteer hours, or employment experience associated with your future career that you learned more about or that you would like to learn more about?

To be successful academically with my Bachelors in Justice studies I must have have the minimum number of semester credits required which is 120 and earn a grade of a C or above because courses with a D or below are not permitted to count towards
my major. I must be in attendance each day and participate in the online classroom and work hard everyday. I must turn in assignments on time. Also, I
may enhance my future job qualifications by pursuing entry in law school or applying to a job training program for a local, state, or federal law enforcement agency. I would definitely like to learn more about the job training programs available to me
that will help assist with my job qualifications for my

University Foundation Once the student had completed University Foundation are the skills, resources and knowledge of the GCU community that will assist us to be able to navigate the GCU community and a whole and become the most successful student in our schooling. University foundations also makes the student knowledgeable about all the resources available to the student and how to incorporate and use in the student’s school and career.
Effective Communication
Effective communication teaches the student to communicate grammatically correct and appropriately to people of all backgrounds, races, cultures and religion affiliations. Effective communication also teaches the student foreign language, sign language, critical reading and English composition and much more. start there

Christian worldview will prepare and teach the student to incorporate Christian heritage in their school and also their career. It teaches the student
to think about others and themselves by accepting

Critical Thinking
Critical thinking teaches the student to analyze and solve all aspects of ideas and issues in a way that a student will avoid blind acceptance and not come to the conclusion of the issues or problems instead of worrying about the problems.

Failing a class: If I were failing a class I would also probably contact my Class professor first in the private forum to see if there as anything I could do.
Missed an assignment/exam due date: If I missed an exam or assignment I would contact the Class Professor through the private forum. Technology issues are not an excuse for missed exams or assignments because students always have access to tech support. Tech support will assist them in fixing the technology issues in order to finish assignments and exams.
Feeling nervous or overwhelmed: If I were feeling nervous or overwhelmed I would contact Grand Canyon Health and Wellness Clinic. The phone number is 602-639-6215

Scheduled for the wrong course/class: The first thing
I would do if I were scheduled for a wrong course or class would be to contact the Student Services Counselor to discuss my options or to make changes.
