On the other hand the effective communication influences the stakeholders in building commitment towards the
change through the 4 phases: Awareness, Understanding, Acceptance and Commitment. The effective
communication should address the questions of how, what, when and why of the change from the people’s
perspective and I think this is where the communication plan comes in to picture.
Next I am supposed to talk about the role of strategic communica

on in sustaining change
The role of strategic communication in sustaining change is very important. Strategic communication can be
used to ensure that the change is understood by all stakeholders and that the desired outcomes are achieved.
The effective strategic communication involves an education process with employees that is designed to build
support, maintain organizational strength and shift attitudes to align with organizational goals & strategies by
understanding how the change in linked to them.
It builds consensus among stakeholders, create a shared
understanding of the change, provide support to those involved in the process, and ensure that the change is
implemented successfully. Additionally, strategic communication should be used to provide feedback and
support to those involved in the change process.
Next, I am supposed to talk about the learnings from Milestone Two Milestone 2 had lot of learnings associated with it however I felt the critical ones were how to identify the key
stakeholders, how to identify the strategic goals, role of open, creative & innovative culture in the growth of the
organization, understanding of different change management models & creating the change management plan
based on those models.
Next, I am supposed to talk about how the learnings from this course re

ect on my personal experience

In my current organization, I manage large projects & programs. It is all about the change and many of these
programs are run across the enterprise impacting many cross functional teams. The contents of this entire course
are very very helpful for me in my current role. I am able to easily map them with my job duties. Some of the
concepts like identifying the key stakeholders, their significance, stakeholder engagement & their support,
importance of communication, creating change plans, tracking them and implementing the change is something
