The tool is to support communication and embrace connections with people all across the world. In the recent years, the usage of social media by people have skyrocketed
. The influence social media has over adults and children in both positive and negative ways.
The age of technology have a significant influence among adults and teens. Even though they’re a lot of fact that reflect the negative impact. It is simple for the negative to overshadow the benefits. Some may find joy from the stories they read on social media. The positive impact has changed the way people conduct business and live our daily lives. The connection with an audience is in the palms of our hands. I stand with social media. There’s a reason

believe in social media’s power of connection (The Pros and Cons of Social Media, 2022). Online communication has evolved into a global lifestyle. According to surveys conducted and scientific studies by the Mayo Clinic results reflect social media negatively affects teenagers’ by exposing them to distracting them, disrupting their sleep, and exposing them to bullying, rumor spreading, unrealistic views of other people's lives and peer pressure (Teens and Social Media use: What’s the impact, 2022). Multiple studies reveal the mental health and self-esteem is severely affected by social media. Extensive use of social media causes
stress and bad moods. Some may experience addiction, which may affect sleep (Is Social Media Negatively Affecting your life, 2018). 2

Our country is currently vulnerable to nation security breeches due to Japanese social media platform TikToc. The FBI and the Federal Communications Commission have warned that ByteDance could share TikTok user data, such as browsing history, location and biometric identifiers, with China’s authoritarian government (Why TikTok's security risks keep raising fears
, 2013). The Social media platforms have invaded our privacy and are currently selling our personal information to other platforms
. Which can lead to dangerous outcomes of adults and teens. Too much information is being shared. Adults and teens privacy and security is also affected and could be dangerous. Both adults and teens security is also affected and could be dangerous. Predators have gained easier access to our children, our current location and personal information. These Social media platforms also have many positive business qualities. Entrepreneurs have succeeded in their business with social media. This would be a positive influence social media has on adults and teens business owners. Social media can Contribute to dive product sales, engage your audience, and track progress. Reach new audiences and grow your business with

The age of technology have a significant influence among adults and children. Studies show how relationships are impacted, mental health, communication and in-person connection. However, the good out weighs the bad. How we as people adapt to change in technology gradually. Learning to make it work for your benefit should be key. Social media has brought many people together to make needed changes and awareness of the world. People have also misused social media to bring harm to themselves or others. There is a median balance between right and wrong, good and bad. Everything and everyone has room for improvement. 4
