It is called the 100-million-dollar deli due to its unusually high value in the stock market. 2. The three men were charged with multiple crimes including conspiracy to commit securities fraud, manipulation, wire fraud, money laundering, and market manipulation. 3. The parent company hometown international merged with a bioplastics company known as e-waste, all these companies share connections with the deli. 4. This story is important because it gives you examples of what not to do when it comes to running a business. This story is a great example of unethical business practices. CONNECT the article. What does it have to do with you? This article pertains to me because I do have some stock in the stock market, so it’s good to keep up with what’s going on in the stock market. CONNECT the article. What does it have to do with our course content? In our class, we talked about being ethical in business, and this article is a good example of what not to do (unethical). We also talked about stock in class which this article talks about a lot. Another thing that the article touches on that we talked about in class would be mergers.
