I am a nurturing person but I am also big on a sense of self and community. The three ideas of how I would build a relationship with my students is providing recognition. By taking the time to get to know each student individually, including their interests, strengths, and areas for growth. Recognition to celebrate their achievements and efforts regularly. through verbal praise, small gestures like high-fives and smiling. Recognizing students' unique contributions and accomplishments helps foster a sense of belonging and validation. Another idea is to create a collaborative classroom culture. Establish a classroom community where students feel valued, respected, and empowered. Encourage active participation in decision-making processes, such as giving each child a classroom job that they can accomplish on their own and some activities that promote teamwork, communication skills, and peer support. Last idea is to communicate effectively with the child and the families by building trust and partnership. Being honest in communication will effectively promote a positive relationship.
