During the presentation, did you ever feel lost or confused? Did you understand the technical concepts that Sabeti presented when explaining her work? c.
After listening to her talk, do you feel personally connected to the issue? Does her
work affect you? Why or why not? d.
Discuss at least one potential drawback of Sabeti's approach that you want to see
her address in future presentations, publications, or research.
This TED talk was extremely engaging. Yes, I continued listening because as someone pursuing a degree in the sciences as well as a graduate degree in Biology, I was already aware
of Lassa and Ebola. Sierra Leone is one of the most fascinating places on Earth. I did not feel lost. Dr. Sabeti did a fantastic job. I felt connected to her work and looked up more for leisure. I know the goal here is to try to be objective and give something she could improve on, but it seems pompous for me to find a flaw in a doctor's work to improve on.
