Provide an in-depth review of your overall lowest and highest scores. In this review provide your thoughts and insights regarding both your lowest and highest scores and assess your overall results. Provide your perspective regarding how closely you believe the report corresponds to you. Describe one area in the report that surprised you and why. Discuss one area of your results where you believe you can improve the most. Why is that important to you? The Mersino text can assist you in developing this review, specifically, pages 26-36, 62-
63, 89-90, and 97-101.
In reviewing the EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence assessment results, it appears that my overall lowest score falls within the Decision-Making composite (107), while my highest scores are tied in the Self-Perception and Self-Expression composites (117 each). Considering the assessment results, the high scores in Self-Perception and Self-Expression suggest a strong awareness of my emotions and an ability to express them effectively. This corresponds well with my self-
assessment, as I consider myself quite introspective and articulate in sharing my feelings and thoughts. The lower score in Decision-Making indicates room for improvement in how emotions influence my problem-solving and choices. Upon reflection, this too aligns with my personal insights, especially under pressure. What surprises me in the report is the relatively high Stress Management score (114), as I often perceive myself as someone who could improve in handling stress effectively. The lower Decision-Making score is an important area for improvement because making sound decisions underpins both personal and professional success. Drawing from the Mersino text, enhancing emotional intelligence in decision-making involves managing emotions to remain objective and clear-headed. By improving in this area, the quality of decisions should also improve, leading to better outcomes in various aspects of life. 2.
Provide your thoughts and insights regarding your lowest and highest scores in each of the five realms assessed in the EQ i 2.0. The realms are: Self-Expression, Self-Perception, Interpersonal, Decision-Making, and Stress Management. Were you surprised with any of the results, or did the results of your assessment in each of the realms seem to fit with your own assessment of your current level of emotional intelligence?
Considering the scores within the five realms: - Self-Perception (117): This score is not surprising, as I am aware of my emotions and generally understand my strengths and weaknesses. It reflects a high level of self-regard, self-actualization, and emotional self-
awareness. - Self-Expression (117): The high score here makes sense since I can freely express my emotions and am generally transparent in my interactions with others. It suggests effective emotional expression, assertiveness, and independence. - Interpersonal (109): This slightly lower
score indicates there is space to grow in social responsibility, interpersonal relationships, and empathy. These findings are not surprising, but they do shine a light on possible areas for further personal development. - Decision-Making (107): The lowest score in this realm is in line with my self-assessment, highlighting an area where I can work on managing emotions when making decisions, testing reality, and controlling impulses. - Stress Management (114): The relatively high score was surprising and suggests I might be better at managing stress than I perceive myself to be. It emphasizes the need for a self-reevaluation regarding stress tolerance and flexibility.

Offer three actionable items that you could incorporate into your daily life that would enhance your overall lowest and highest score.
Actionable items to work on Decision-Making and Self-Expression could include: - Taking a moment to breathe and assess situations objectively before making decisions. - Practicing mindfulness to improve presence of mind and emotional clarity in decision-making scenarios. - Actively seeking feedback from peers to understand their perspectives and to make more informed decisions.

Please conclude your paper with a summary of your findings and expected results.
In summary, the EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence assessment has revealed strengths in Self-
Perception and Self-Expression, as well as opportunities for growth in Decision-Making. The results largely match my self-evaluation, with an unexpected insight into Stress Management. By
targeting the areas identified for improvement—particularly those involved in decision-making
—and continuing to leverage strengths in self-awareness and expression, I can enhance my emotional intelligence and its application to personal and professional situations. The expected result of this focus would be more balanced decision-making processes, even under stress, and the reinforcement of effective communication and self-awareness.
