Part One: Locate a scholarly or peer-reviewed article from the University of Arizona Global Campus Library that best represents an educational role in special education that interests you.
The discovered paper is titled "Accomplishing More Together: Influence on the Quality of Professional Relationships Between Special Educators and Paraprofessionals" authored by Elizabeth E. Biggs, Carly B. Gilson, and Erik W. Carter. It has undergone a peer review process. Summarize in at least one paragraph the main points of the article. Justify how the article addresses collaborative relationships within the special education profession, focusing specifically on skills and strategies.
Within the context of special education, this essay explores the collaborative relationship that exists between paraprofessionals and instructional staff. This piece of writing contains information that was gathered through interviews with twenty-two educators and paraprofessionals, all of whom come from different regions. During the meeting, every single special education teacher and paraprofessional talked on the significance of maintaining professional relationships and how they play a role in ensuring that kids with severe impairments
receive an education of the highest possible quality. This was proved by the data that was acquired from the interviews, which showed that cooperation had a favorable impact on the collaborative formulation and implementation of a customized assistance plan for the students. For providing kids with severe impairments with the greatest education possible, it is of the utmost importance that instructors collaborate with one another and share any insights they may have.
Next, describe why this article piqued your interest professionally or personally and explain how it will influence your special education career plans.
The replies from special education instructors and paraprofessionals who have volunteered together to provide the ideal learning environment for students with severe

disabilities are included in this article, which is one of the reasons why I thought it to be quite intriguing. Because it contains information from actual teachers and paraprofessionals who are aware that collaborative relationships are highly necessary to offer students with the greatest education possible, this article has an impact on both my professional and personal plans.
Indicate the database you used to locate the article.

I will be reaching out to Ms. Mia Ogburn and Marcus Alderson in an email to let them know that
we still have a schedule interview for in person, coming up in about a week. Develop a list of at least six interview questions, which should be aligned with the collaboration topic or topics you wish to address.
