In a work setting, empathy builds rapport and trust by creating stronger bonds with clients or coworkers. Non-judgmental-judgmental with unconditional positive regard: Being accepting of others and not passing judgment on them based on their behaviour or beliefs is a sign of having an open mind. It means treating people with kindness and respect rather than passing snap decisions or criticism. An act of unconditional positive regard is extending sincere encouragement and validation without any conditions. Genuineness: Sincerity and authenticity in interactions are components of genuineness. It entails speaking honestly and without pretence about your intentions, feelings, and thoughts. This conduct fosters an environment of openness and trust, opening doors for deeper professional relationships. Micro skills:
