Generous donors and volunteers hold the power to alleviate and prevent personal suffering
during emergencies, as The Mission aims to do. The organization caters to significant needs of
the community, with blood drives taking place at multiple locations throughout the country.
Blood is separated into red cells, platelets and plasma, and shipped to hospitals at any time,
ensuring patients receive transfusions during serious car accidents, surgeries, and cancer
treatments. Disaster teams are also available. In times of crisis, those impacted by disasters
worldwide receive much-needed support, such as shelter, care, and hope. Emergency assistance

Strategic Plan of the Red Cross
Outreach Program: Educating the community on intimate partner violence.
Empowerment Programs: Supporting victims on their journey.
Services: Emergency shelter, case management, counseling, crisis hotline, court advocacy
(Will, 2022).
In order to end the cycle of sexual assault and violence, the community outreach program by the
organization educates about intimate partner violence. Victim empowerment is also focused on
through tailored programs for those impacted. Services such as providing emergency shelter,
counseling, referrals, and 24/7 crisis hotline exist, as well as court advocacy to aid in legal
matters. The organization delivers case management to ensure comprehensive supporting for
individuals fleeing their homes.
Slide 12:
Red Cross Case
Funding Challenges: Increased competition from other organizations
Perception Issues: Community misunderstanding about government affiliation
Strain on Services: Difficulty in delivering services due to financial constraints
Due to the emergence of numerous organizations that offer services similar to those provided by
the Red Cross, the matter of generating funds has become quite troublesome. Consequently, the
organization grapples with competition, consequently inhibiting its ability to obtain the full
amount of resources required to fulfill their societal functions. Moreover, the organization faces
further complications as some members of the public mistake it for a government establishment
and, therefore, decline to extend their financial support to it, making it even more challenging to
operate effectively.
Slide 13:
Conclusion

Over a century of guiding actions to prevent and alleviate suffering.
Commitment to humanity remains steadfast.

For over a century, the Red Cross has been guided by a mission rooted in compassion and a
profound respect for human dignity. In spite of evolving challenges, the organization remains
