Justification of the Evidence (10pts) Our stacking order prediction was correct. In order for liquids to stack on top of each other, they all need to have different density. Density being a calculation of mass over volume, the higher the mass is the bigger the density is going to be if all liquids are measured at the same volume. Those with a higher density are going to be in the bottom and those with a lighter density are going to be on top. Since the pink sugar solution not only had the highest average mass of 11.53g it also had the highest average density of 1.27g/mL, while the blue solution had the lower mass of the two at 9.69g and the lowest density of all three solutions at 0.97g/mL. Methods used to reduce error were tiling the cylinder and using the dropper when pouring each solution on top of each other along with finding the mass and volume three times, calculating the density each time and then averaging each density to get a more accurate result. Some error still could have occurred due to water still being in each cylinder when calculating volume and mass after each solution, along with volume not being 100% accurate due to rounding.
