Plans for Gathering Data
Hello,
I've provided you with a strategy on how to acquire data to solve your organizational issue. For further details, please refer to the material below:
Tech Corp
Tech Corp. has implemented a new human resources system to track and manage employees' time away from the workplace. Sadly, neither the managers nor the employees are making the most of the system, which restricts its usefulness. The system's purpose is to provide reports to senior management so they can maintain appropriate staffing levels, which in turn increases efficiency and output. Now, Tech Corp is deciding on whether it is beneficial to penalize employees for not participating in the program or to offer financial incentives to incentivize them
to do so.
Types of Data
•
Both qualitative and quantitative data must be gathered.
More in-depth meaning of Quantifiable information is known as quantitative data.
It can be quantified numerically, such as length in millimeters or revenue in dollars, and counted or measured. Statistical analysis can be performed on quantitative data since it is typically structured.
Plan for Gathering Data
•
Ask employees to complete a survey to get their opinions on the new system. Arrange a schedule of meetings to find out why the freshly implemented system fails to be getting used and determine what might be done regarding it. To keep track of who has completed the survey, we may use Excel to build a table with all the employees who are and are not using the new approach. It will also make it possible for Tech Corp to determine which workers have not yet been questioned regarding the new system and their opinions on it.
Tools, Techniques, and Methods for Analysis The responses to the survey can be saved to a file for additional analysis and review. Information
obtained from focus groups and meetings will be entered into a database and tagged with the most common trends and keywords. Statistics will be used to evaluate data and discover trends.· 1
