I have selected the following clients to work with: Client 1 Test Corp Client 2 Make Me Buy Advertisers I have outlined the various aspects of each client’s problem, problem statements, some high-level requirements from the clients, and rationale for further investigation of the problems. [Client 1 NameTest Corp] Aspects of the Problem Although the new HR Information system was put in place to track and report on time spent away from the office by employees, neither management nor staff are making use of it. Problem Statement Tech Corporation has launched a new system that tracks and generates information on employees' time away from work, particularly that of managers. However, staff members are discouraged from using the tool by managers' lack of involvement. High-Level Requirements The business was looking for ideas on how to encourage more managers and employees to use the new information system. Some ideas include rewarding participation or imposing penalties for laziness. Rationale The persistent issues with personnel have led to very low levels of production. Customers expect prompt service, but Tech Corp. is not able to offer that right now. The company's repute has declined dramatically. This system, when properly put into place, has the power to turn things around and benefit the most significant stakeholders in the business, which include the owners, managers, customers, and employees. I think the organization should provide some sort of training to make employees aware of why the new HR information system is so vital and maybe even reward those who make regular use of it while penalizing those who don't. Go one step further and have each employee, and their management sign a document attesting to the fact that they received the training. At the latest, the prize must be distributed 1
by the end of the month. If an employee does not use the system as directed, they will be disciplined. With any luck, these actions will fix the problem. Client 2 Make Me Buy Advertisers Aspects of the Problem The company lost gold-level customers because their investments did not generate adequate returns. Problem Statement The company is loosing and severing ties with top vendors as a result of poor marketing strategies, which is having a negative impact on sales and revenue. High-Level Requirements The organization needs our help in determining the best marketing strategies to use for each client's products in order to increase sales and mend relationships with its gold-tier clientele. Rationale Feedback on the causes of the loss of top-tier clients will be provided by the examination of the marketing strategy. Many departments can use this information to ensure that potential customers are provided with an accurate description of the services the company provides. When promised service matches delivered service, customer satisfaction and retention are positively correlated. Please reach out with any questions.
