SAFMEDS Submission for Week 1 – 4 Data Analysis Week 1: September 25th – October 1st Figure 1.1 displays the data collected for the week 1: September 25 th – October 1 st while studying deck 1 of the SAFMEDS for ABA 620. Acquisition accel data over the week is present with a trend as five data points have been collected. During the 1 st day I experimented with the SAFMEDS app and didn’t conduct the proper time limit of 30 seconds, but the remaining 4 days followed the standardized time limit. The last accel data point of the week was at 9, indicting the AIM has not been met, but is projected to be met by the end of the deck. Acquisition data is present with an upward trend and moderate variability the 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th days, but a dramatic increase on the 5 th day. Data Analysis Week 2: October 2nd – October 6 th Figure 2.1 displays the data collected for week 2: October 2 nd - October 6th. By now I have familiarize myself with the SAFMEDS application and have established a daily routine of conducting my (5) thirty second acquisition trials first thing in the morning or on the train ride to work. On the last recorded data point (10/06/2023), I recorded 15 correct responses and zero and correct responses. On the first day of week two I improved my scoring by one correct answer. Then as I analyzed day 2, 3, 4 and 5 of week 2, my scoring steadily improved by two correct answers after each trial. I reached my goal of 15 minimum correct within 30 seconds. I accomplished this by focusing more on key phrases and/or words in the question rather than reading the whole question over and over again. That allowed me to cut down my reaction time and I was able to answer those 15 questions before time ran out. Obviously, I'll have a significantly more time on both the mock exam and the real exam, however training my mind to respond to certain key phrases and words in relation to find the correct answer is beneficial when answering questions in the long term.

SAFMEDS Submission for Week 1 – 4 Data Analysis Week 3: October 9th – October 15 th During week three of my SAFMEDS training, I was introduced now to two decks the fluency deck and the acquisition deck. The acquisition deck consisted of about 30 new definitions in conjunction with the previous definitions I've been studying you for. The fluency consisted of the previous aforementioned 31 words have been studying in assignments app. I have been continuing to study as I have before I have noticed that I have dropped in my speed in comparison to weeks 1 to 2. I will have to look into a Readjustment in order to be my goals for week 4 and the mock exam. Data Analysis Week 3: October 9th – October 15th During week four of my SAFMEDS training, I became more accustomed to utilizing both my fluency deck and my acquisition deck. I did my fluency deck for 3 days out of the week and I did my acquisition for 5 days out of the week. With my fluency deck I noticed a slight increase with my number of correct responses within the 30 second window. The number of correct is near the max line established on my chart. In terms of my acquisition deck however, I've noticed I've gotten a significant number of incorrect responses while doing my training during the first two days. During the last three days, I simply skipped over the responses that I did not know and I averaged around 12:00 to 14 quick responses in a 30 second window. Study Approach and Adjustments Antecedent. My current study plan has shown to be effective over the multiple decks and courses. The first step was to set my weekly goal of 15 accel within deck 1. Then determined my reinforcer for the week if this goal was met by Sunday. I study for about 1 hour each day.
SAFMEDS Submission for Week 1 – 4 Current reinforcement procedures include one, being reinforced by completing my SAFMEDS study time and data input by 7 pm nightly by watching a TV program with my family for 1 hour. If I meet my weekly accel goal by Sunday morning, I can then be reinforced with an afternoon of no studying and going to play with a video game system at my brother-in-law’s house. Additional procedures include studying 5 days per week for 20 minutes by reading through the deck, saying the terms/definitions out loud, and then googling the term to write down specific examples related to the definition. Week 2: October 2nd – October 6th Week three brings along both using the acquisition deck and the fluency deck. I will still maintain my acquisition trials in the morning time, but I will start fluency trials in the afternoon to allow my mind to process and absorb the information in between sessions. Week 4: October 15 th – 22 nd I changed my routine of when I start my SAFMEDS training. Previously, I studied my SAFMEDS in the morning time when I first woke up in the morning and on my train ride to work. Now I study on the train ride home from work and I do them 30 minutes before I go to bed. Behavior. On day 1 of a run day, I ran one 10-second timing and enter that data point in Precision X. On days 2 through 5, I ran five 30-second timings and enter the best data point into Precision X. For my fluency deck, I ran five 30-second timings across 5 days. Data is analyzed for fluency following a timing. Consequence. Following my last timing, I enter the data into Precision X immediately. I am looking at the data across the week and the deck to evaluate if the AIM is anticipated to be
SAFMEDS Submission for Week 1 – 4 met and/or if there is variability in the data. This week’s acquisition accel data has me projected to not meet the AIM, therefore a proposed adjustment is below. For decel cards, an additional 10- minutes of studying is performed. I did not accel my terminal reinforcer for the week, but plan to meet it within the first trial of week 2 of deck 2. Week 2: October 2nd – October 6th As of now I have no experience that deceleration in my scoring, so I have as of yet giving myself a consequence in not being my goal. However, if I do not meet my goal set for this coming week, my consequence will still be I will deprive myself of using a video game system of my choice. Adjustments. Due to the variability in acquisition data, I will study without the timing pressure. I haven’t had to make an adjustment yet as of week 2, will keep with the current regimen and see if anything changes in the future. Week 3: October 9th – October 15th I have experienced deceleration in my scoring time for week 3. Doing before I would love to see if I can switch around and stay in time hours to see that I have a positive change. Since I have not completed my goal this week I will have to administer I possible 's. My consequence is that I will not allow myself to play any type of recreational movie or video game for the remainder of week 4. Week 3: October 9th – October 15 th Last week I had previously told myself that I would make adjustments to my training regimen as I noticed that I wasn't getting the correct number of responses to reach my goal. I

SAFMEDS Submission for Week 1 – 4 changed up my routine and I did notice an increase in the number of responses; however I also knows I was getting a good number of them incorrect and was forced to skip a good majority of them in the following days. I will take time to analyze which responses I seem to have great difficulty in answering correctly and focus more on studying those terms during my unlimited study time sessions.
