2 Speaker+ Tailoring to IG’s Audience In preparing for the launch of the Speaker+, it is vital to consider both the internal and external audiences that International Gadgets (IG) communicates with. With these stakeholders we must be certain in understanding their needs and preferences in developing this product and fine tuning the details. 1. Analysis of IG’s Internal and External Audiences In Research and Development, the team is made up of invested individuals that have a talent for innovation. This audience does require detailed technical information regarding the product along with new insights so they can fully understand the product entirely. Manufacturing with their facilities based in Detroit and Shanghai need clear instructions on the product and its scheduled productions times. If there is a change to any bit of the information regarding the product it needs to be delivered immediately to ensure there is no delay again as this has happened in the past with the Detroit site. With the Sales and Marketing teams based all over the world from the U.S., Europe, and partnering firms need the comprehensive details of the Speaker+ to ensure its full range of sale is met. This includes anything that will help them advertise the product effectively with the highest advantages over its competitors. Helping them on the cost and which markets to connect with will help this venture. Internal communications serve the purpose of informing and educating employees. The goal of these communications is to keep individuals or teams engaged in their work, so they will in turn remain productive and efficient, with the goal of keeping the company profitable (Cobalt 2020). Technical Support is a standalone team handling the extensive training and troubleshooting required for the Speaker+ as well as addressing any problems that the customers have when using this product. Finance and
3 Accounting teams ensure that the financial projections are exact. Within this team the cost analysis must be perfect with informed decisions about the use of resources available and the budget. Human Resources along with the widespread employees across the locations need to be informed of the product launch. This will ensure correct communication with employees regarding the product launch. Customers whether it is a large purchaser or individual purchaser as well as internet sales understand what the Speaker+ has to offer and how they will enjoy the quality of the delivered product. The customers need clear instructions on when and how to purchase the product plus installation details. Distribution and Supply stakeholders need to be notified of the launch. This will allow them to ensure their own operations are successful. Henceforth communication with distribution and the timelines are critical to a long partnership. Subcontractors involved with design and manufacturing must understand the Speaker+ and how it works. Specifically, they must understand how the Speaker+ works with IG and their infrastructure. Amazon, the logistical partner, must be briefed about the Speaker+’s launch to ensure that their warehouses, packaging, shipping, and returns are ready. 2. Recommendations: Internal and External Audiences Research and Development need detailed technical specifications on the Speaker+. Any insights into the development of the product will help with the launch. Manufacturing needs to be informed of any possible change in supply or schedule because if they aren’t it could impact the product’s overall success, especially in the beginning. The next step is to identify your audience for your technical content. Who are the decision-makers, influencers, and users of your product? What are their pain points, needs, expectations, and preferences? How do they consume

Sales and Marketing will have to understand the audience perfectly as they will create targeted marketing techniques highlighting the features and benefits that Speaker+ has to offer the different markets. Technical Support will conduct training sessions for the technical support team including the knowledge and skills necessary to address customer questions. Finance and Accounting will present accurate financial data and projections for the launch. The cost analysis and budget will be presented in this as well making sure their resources are used properly. Human Resources will need quick data transfer for messaging and addressing employee concerns regarding the Speaker+. Customers need to have clear and captivating messages about the features and benefits the Speaker+ has to offer them by increasing their investment in the product. Distribution and Supply ensure any change in the distribution process or timeline is communicated immediately. This will ensure there is no delay in production. Subcontractors will have clear insights into the product and its involvement with IG’s infrastructure, making sure there are no problems in clarification. Amazon needs briefed so their logistical integration in their system is flawless maximizing availability for customers. The Speaker+ is the new product for IG therefore the internal and external audiences must be carefully evaluated with a great plan of attack. This will ensure the stakeholders, employees and customers are thoroughly satisfied.
