(Final paragraph Paper) List the basic components (buffers and proteins) and their concentrations in the motility medium that the authors observed Listeria motility (Paper). Drawing on your own experience and other resources, very briefly note what each component in the solution does (your experience + internet). The motility medium contained: What was the maximum motility rate for Listeria in the motility assay (Paper)? Paper #2: Ohkawa et al 2010 In Figure 1A bottom time series pictures— What did they do to the baculoviruses and the cells so they could visualize the viruses and actin in the cells? (Methods ) What kind of cells are these (Methods)? What organism do they come from? (Internet) What evidence from Figure 1 suggests that the motility of the viruses is due to the P78/83 protein? What evidence confirms the involvement of actin polymerization and Arp 2/3 proteins in the motility of baculoviruses?
