The
Greco-Roman
era
in
the Classical
period
had
a
significant
influence
on
much
of
the
art
created
during
the
Renaissance.
The
pattern
is
clear,
particularly
in
Florence,
which
is
close
to
many
of
the
Classical
ruins.
Thus,
during
the
1700s,
a
variety
of
factors
that
were
accessible
to
artists
and
patrons
may
be
noticed
in
their
works.
Classical
art
not
only
inspired
that
era
through
other
mediums
besides
art,
but
it
also
spread
into
modern
times.
As
we
can see
from
this
week's
study
material,
many
patrons
and
artists
during
the
Renaissance
and
Baroque
periods
put
a
great
deal
of
time
and
effort
into
learning
about
how
the
human
body
functions.
This
rekindled
interest
in
both
the
intellectual
and
physical
conceptions
of
the
natural
world.
Greco-
Roman
painters
were
greatly
influenced
by
the
human
body's
many
functional
components,
such
as
the
bones
and
muscles,
which
is
especially
evident
in
their
depictions
of
humans
in
sculptures
and
paintings.
Artists
ran
with
this
concept,
gaining
insight
and
being
motivated
to
pick
up
new
technical
and
scientific
skills.
From
the
1400s
until
the
1700s,
many
artists
considered
the
use
of
paint,
straight
lines,
and
ideal
forms
to
be
the
ideal
sort
of
art.

Many
of
the
churches
constructed
during
the
Renaissance,
Baroque,
and
Rococo
periods
are
still
standing,
which
serves
as
inspiration
for
contemporary
artists
and
architects
when
creating
diverse
designs
for
structures
and
works
of
art.
In
addition,
several
structures,
including
the
White
House,
have
architectural
elements
like
the
columns
at
the
front
entryway
that
were
inspired
by
Greco-Roman
architecture.
Due
to
its
distinct
style,
form,
and
purpose,
domes
and
arches
are
still
frequently
employed
in
architectural
designs.
