Team Charter This Team Charter is a contract between the students assigned to this team regarding the completion of teamwork for this class. By completing this agreement, students agree to work together as a team rather than as a collection of individuals. This shared document will be used to guide your work as a team. This team will meet as necessary through zoom Thursdays or Fridays each week, will discuss as needed Communication Guidelines
How often will the group communicate outside of team meetings? Using what mode of communication? How often? The team will use email and text messaging to communicate. All significant communication will happen in our weekly meetings (see above). If any issues arise with communication boundaries we will first attempt to resolve them within our team, and if need be we will involve the professor in order to meet our deadlines for completion of the assignment. Conflict Management What are potential conflicts that might arise among or between team members during this course? How will team members deal with these and other conflicts? As a team, we understand that conflicts over ideas are likely to occur. We will use standard conflict resolution methods to deal with the problem. If we are unable to reach a consensus, the team will act based on majority rule. We will communicate problems with all team members in an open and respectful manner, and avoid discussing problems with only one team member as that can lead to the formation of sides and will destroy any team cohesion. It will be important for us to have open communication with one another in the group chat and be understanding of having differing schedules and opinions. Assessment and Achievement How will the team know it has reached success with this project? We will use the syllabus of the class to be sure we are completing each assignment on time and to the highest quality possible. Further, we will map out a plan for success and be sure each person completed the task assigned to them. We will know we have reached success when we have completed the project, received a high score, and are able to give each other a high score with all honesty.
